Kathy is a trained nurse and midwife and has worked in a variety of roles, in medical and surgical nursing, community health and midwifery. Originally from Adelaide in South Australia, Kathy joined Youth With A Mission Perth in 1987 for her DTS and has been on staff since that time.
Kathy has pioneered the work of Australian Relief and Mercy Services in Perth, which helps families in crisis. She has also established both the Introduction to Primary Health Care School, Birth Attendant School, Medical Boomerang teams and is curently establishing 100 Clinics in the Indian Ocean Gateway region by 2007!
