Primary healthcare training is paying great dividends!

Australian Mercy has just completed its Primary healthcare training on the Thai / Burmese border. This year there were 35 trainees who completed the training. This course has been invaluable in improving the health care in the region - today we received this email. Marion Wilbraham leads the course and Robin Wales also teaches on it. The course was held at Way Teh Loo close to the Mae-la camp....

Buzz Off’s 20,000 LLIN challenge for 2013

Our challenge for our  Buzz Off malaria campaign in 2013 is to buy and distribute 20,000 LLIN nets into remote communities in malaria endemic areas. Buzz Off has seen a 40% growth in the LLIN nets it distributed in 2012 distributing 14,350 LLIN nets into remote areas of Burma, Papua New Guinea and Western Papua.  2011 year we saw less that 10,000 nets distributed. Each LLIN net saves the lives...
